It was wonderful catching up
with so many of you at the first
{Monday} Moments
of the New Year.
That virtual water cooler
was certainly humming
with a distinct energy that
shone through in every
linked post, comment and
e-mail I received.
Some of your names
for 2012 included
The Year of ....
calm
joy
doing
embracing
connections
risks
forgiveness
listening
achieving
prayer
healing
artistry
growth
simplifying
organization
grace
order
In fact, that positive spirit has
propelled me into participating
in a monthly challenge called
Before and After,
hosted by a dear blog friend.
At the beginning of each
month, Lisa is asking readers
to set a goal, making it
public by linking it to her
post or sending her
an e-mail with a picture.

Read more, HERE. |
At the end of the month,
readers will reveal their
Afters
in the same manner.
{While Lisa envisions a lot of
household projects, she
encourages
any and all goal-setting.}
The idea is that the public
aspect will hold our feet to
the fire, in a manner of speaking,
encouraging us to turn our
dreaming into doing.
I'm in.
So
so
SO
in, on this one.
For my first Before project in
2012 I am taking a small product
idea that my mom and I have
been tossing around for years
and bringing it to fruition
near the end of January.
We've already spent A LOT
of time talking, thinking about,
researching and testing
our little homemade creation.
But that's
as far
as it's gone.
Until now ~ 2012.
In the next 20 days I will be
chasing down all the details
we've brainstormed so far and
taking the final steps to
open our on-line shop.
And I'll document the journey
in the After post, which I'll share
on January 27th.
So, if you have ever had a
concept for a product, come
along and take a peek at the
steps it takes to start marketing
it beyond your family : )
Okay, now it's out there.
Feet to the fire ~
And my toes are starting
to feel very, very hot.....
I'd better sign off and
get to work.
Tune in on January 27th.
{It's the Year of Possibilities,
right?}
See you on Monday. Until
then, make the most of all
your
moments.
xx

I'm interested to know what idea you two have been kicking around and what you came up with. No doubt it will be a success. I'm happy to say that the kids bedroom is almost finished. They do need new bunkbeds but that might have to wait. I'm just happy to get the rest of it done. I'm thinking the tv room might be next. I already have ideas. :) Best wishes to you and yours for a wonderful weekend, Tammy
bring it on, fabulous woman with the words!
one unexpected joy of blogging is the accountability factor which really does provide added incentive to creative projects.
