Love, Me xx

~For You~

Some truths I have learned
about
love...

You cannot
buy someone else's love,
but you can give
your own love away.

Love is something that
you never run out of
because it's always in
your heart.....and the more
you give, the more you have.

It knows no boundries
of race, creed, nationality,
class, age or species.

Real love is
always sweet
never sour
Always beautiful
never ugly
Always kind
never mean.

Love is awesome.

Love is something
that the poorest person
can have in abundance ~
but the richest
person might lack

Love can be found
in grand gestures
but is most often found
in little ones....

The coffee brewed early
The snow shoveled
The pie shared
The note in the lunch box
The weary smile
The furry nuzzle
The ear that listens
The heart that comforts

There are different
kinds of love.

For a child
For a parent
For a lover
For a sibling
For a friend
For a teacher
For a pet

For your Creator
For your country
For your world

You can love
places, like
your home
or the beach
a city
or the mountains.

You can love
experiences, like
travel and and movies,
concerts and baseball
games, reading and
writing.

You can love
things, like
chocolate {anything}
cozy blankets
blue eyes
warm hugs
starry skies...

There is loving....

And there is being
in
love...

.....with another,
with yourself and
with life.

What truth do
you know
about love,
dear friends?

Happy Valentine's Day.

Spend your love
abundantly!

xx
Suzanne

Good morning dear and beautiful Suzanne. Love is abundant and never ending, and even after those we have lost are gone, we do not lose, for love endures forever. That I believe and know, for the imprint that love has left behind lives on and on and only increases with the wisdom to do all of the things you have mentioned. What a grand thing it is, to BE ALIVE and have a soul, the VESSEL in which love resides!!! BLESSINGS TO YOU BEAUTIFUL ONE! Anita

* Suzanne, it is the BEST compliment I give you that you remind me, in MANY ways, of my very dearest girlfriend, of many, many years... she always knows just "what" is needed and "when"..... and her heart is sooooo big! She and her husband are arriving tomorrow, from Kansas, for their yearly Valentines Day visit, and I just can't can't!!!

This was so endearing and soooo lovely... and so beautifully stated... obviously straight from your heart, as always.

HAPPIEST of VALENTNES to ANTOHER dear, dear lady!

Love,
Linda in AZ *

Hi Suzanne, I know that I have been blessed by being loved by so many in my life. I know that I love deeply and when I do love you, you will never have any doubt. I have been given love so freely that it is easy for me to give it freely. I am truly thankful for that. Being open to recieving love is just as important as giving love. I wonder how many miss out on this amazing gift because they are closed off??? Love to you dear friend, Kathysue

What an utterly beautiful and special post. The bit that stood out to me was that you included 'species' in your list of no boundaries because... well, I have two cats that I adore and I will have to be sure to give them a few extra treats on Monday.
