Imagination

Imagine

you love to create
art

big and small pieces

sculpture and glass

your
medium
organic materials
recycled and new

your
inspiration

patina
of aged wood
and metal

rocks and flowers
dogs and cats
horses and goats

your
canvas

acres of farmland
in the country

What kind
of gallery would
you choose
to showcase
your talent?

Imagine......

A mini golf
sculpture garden!

Took all the Privets
plus one buddy
and one aspiring photographer
~ me ~
to celebrate the weekend
with a little putt-putt.

Mr. P:  I feel
a blog post coming on.....

Oh, how well you know me.
{Lucky me!}

My son:  You aren't gonna
use my picture, are you????

Maybe just one.

As soon as you pull in,
you know that you are somewhere
special.....

Not your normal putt putt
course!

'Lots of interesting places
to rest

To take in art
with your eyes

and heart

and grip of the club

A dizzying landscape
of the serene
and the surreal....

Imagine
celebrating
your putt-putt prowess
afterwards
here.

Does it get
any better
when you are a
kid
with only
SIX
days of school left?

Imagine!

Limitations live only in our minds.
But if we use our imaginations,
our possibilities become endless.

Oh Suzanne!
What a magical, fanciful place! I never imagined such places even existed, and your photos capture it just beautifully.

I'd have a hard time concentrating on getting the ball in the hole, I'd be so distracted by the beauty around me!

Anne

What a place! Like an outdoor gallery makes looking at all mediums much more interesting.

Where was this place when I was in High School, going on dates to the boring putt-putt with horrible clown faces and windmills? This looks like a dream! Thanks so much for coming by, today. I always enjoy visiting you, it's an "experience" in the best way!
xo,
Debra

What art work!! And I love the comment from your son. I usually find my children doing the same thing when the camera comes out, all the while groaning, "Oh, no, it's a blog post!"

Looks like one fun-filled day you all had together. And that was the glue that put the day together, wasn't it? The fact that you were all together, enjoying beauty and life.

Such a cool putt putt! That is the most clever idea! But honestly, what I really love is the diner! I am all about a classic diner in a small town, my husband and I seek these out when we travel! Yum!

Drive ins - we have them in NJ when I go home to visit family - not too many in MD - I love the chili dogs! They put brown gravy on the french fries. Low cal but who cares... and as for the ponies - I used to have them at both my sons birthday parties when they were little - I'll never forget two of their names "Copper" and the best "Lollipop"!
