Today I'm dreaming
of open roads
and barns
and friends
of silver
and gold.
I'm heading off across
the Midwest to a
big barn sale, co-hosted
by one of my new bloggy
friends, JOY!

This sale is held
in a barn
in a barn
on a farm
and there
and there
will be some of
this
a little of that
bits
and pieces
and even....
these!
I will be meeting two of my dear
gold friends
who I've known since I was
a working
girl in my Chicago days
and
some wonderful silver friends
who I KNOW through
blogging
but have yet to meet
in the real world!
I've got butterflies.
Oh, yeah
big Monarch ones.
The kind you get
before a test or a blind date
or your annual exam with THAT doctor!
But, only because it's going
to be great!
I'll take a lot of pictures
and eat extra goodies
from the farm's patisserie,
just for YOU.
Then I'll come home
and tell you
all
about it!

So funny you mentioned you have butterflies - that's exactly how I felt before meeting up with new blog friends for the very first time last month. It was wonderful and you're going to have such a great time. I'm even a little jealous, but very happy for you! Can't wait to hear all about it!

When I walked up to Debbie's booth (Debbie of Talking Trash) and said her name, I started to laugh and cry at the same time.
